Faith Hill comes back with 'Cry' :
NASHVILLE (Faith Hill Fans Website) - "Cry," the title cut and first single from country chanteuse Faith Hill's next studio album, was digitally delivered Wednesday (Aug. 7) to U.S. country radio outlets. The album is expected sometime in October, but "Cry" is expected to debut next week on Top40's World Country Singles chart. "We've all been working so hard to complete this record and have been so focused on making the best album possible that until recently, issues like album title and first singles hadn't really crossed my mind," Hill said in a statement. "This record has been a long and rewarding process, which began quite a while ago. The emotions that were involved in this process, whether happiness, accomplishment or the sheer beauty of some of these songs, I thought, lent itself so well to the title." The new album is the follow-up to 1999's "Breathe," which debuted at No. 1 on US Albums and has sold 5.95 million copies in the U.S. That album's producers, Byron Gallimore and Dann Huff, have been behind the boards for "Cry."

Robbie Williams Wins a Website Case :
Pop star Robbie Williams has won his battle to evict a "cybersquatter" in England from a website using his name.
The United Nations copyright agency ruled that Howard Taylor, of Southampton, was using his site www.robbiewilliams.info in bad faith.
It decided he does not have the right to use the name and that the website address must pass back into the hands of the millionaire singer.
The website included a link to the site of Liam Gallagher's band Oasis, who famously fell out with Williams following a short spell of them hanging around as friends.
Mr Taylor said he had put the Oasis web address on his site for a joke and said he thought the arguments between Williams and Gallagher were part an orchestrated publicity campaign.
He defended his use of the site by saying that "anyone who knows about it would see the humour".

Jennifer Lopez Backs Salsa Biopic! :
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Daily News) - Multihyphenated entertainer Jennifer Lopez (Enough) is backing a movie about salsa singer Hector Lavoe. Lopez will both produce and co-star in the project. Lavoe's story is ripe for a big-screen treatment, since in a short 43 years he went from rags to riches and experienced a number of tragic, albeit cinematic, events: his brother's drug overdose, the death of his beloved mother, his own drug addition, the brutal murder of his mother-in-law, the accidental fatal shooting of his 17-year-old son, and an attempted suicide.
Lopez will play Lavoe's wife, Nilda.
Latin crooner Marc Anthony (Bringing Out The Dead) is in negotiations to star as Lavoe, notes Variety.
Also, Lopez's former manager, David Maldonado, is writing the screenplay to the picture, which is expected to get rolling later this year.
